The New Honda HR-V Shows "There's More to Life"

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is ready to bring more to Filipinos as it is set to launch the New HR-V on March 9, 2025.

The New HR-V was previewed at HCPI’s Media Thanksgiving event last January 2025, where HCPI announced the New HR-V as the latest addition to Honda’s full hybrid lineup in the Philippines. This solidifies the company’s commitment to improving the people’s way of life by reducing their carbon footprint.

Customers will discover that there’s more to life with the New HR-V with these new features:

• Enhanced driving performance – The Philippine-spec New Honda HR-V is now available in a 1.5 e:HEV engine where it provides 106PS and 127Nm torque, and electric motors put out 131PS and 253Nm torque. Also, the hybrid system achieves an estimated fuel consumption of approximately 23km/L (based on UN-R101). Multiple driving modes are also available to match one’s driving style: eco, normal, and sports mode. Meanwhile, a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is available for the S and V variants which produces 121PS and 145Nm torque.
• Best-in-class exterior – Like its predecessor, the New HR-V is a looker with its sophisticated styling. The front grille and bumper on the RS e:HEV variant is designed with sporty chrome mesh and sport type bumper with a red amp-up line. Promoting a more active lifestyle, the New HR-V features hands-free assist which opens the tailgate with a kicking motion under the bumper and automatically closes when one walks away. Now equipped with Lane Watch, drivers of the V and RS e:HEV variants get enhanced passenger-side visibility, reducing blind spots for safer lane changes. On rainy days, auto rain-sensing wipers adjust wiper speed based on detected moisture. Auto reverse tilt mirrors aid in better curb and parking visibility. 18” tires with Black and Silver alloy wheels are also available now on the V variant.
• Premium interior – Inside, the HR-V provides great comfort, convenience and style. All variants are built with ULT seats which allows the owner to adjust the rear seats for maximum storage and flexibility. For the RS e:HEV, dual zone automatic air-condition gives both driver and passenger liberty to adjust temperature and airflow separately for personalized comfort. Convenience features include wireless connectivity for Apple Carplay and Android Auto for all variants, and a wireless charger for the V and RS e:HEV variants. Overall, its interior layout uplifts the customer’s life through its premium image, features, and advanced tech.
• Smarter safety technology – Strengthening Honda’s commitment to a collision-free society by 2050, all variants of the New Honda HR-V are equipped with Honda SENSING, which now comes with improved cameras. These safety features make the New HR-V one of the safest cars on the road:
  • Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF)
  • Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
  • Road Departure Mitigation System

  • Lead Car Departure Notification (LCDN)
• Advanced connectivity – A new addition to the advanced features of the New HR-V is the 20GEN Honda CONNECT, which allows the user to start, customize and monitor their vehicle directly from their mobile phone. The New Honda HR-V will be available in three variants, namely, the S CVT, V CVT and the RS e:HEV E-CVT. Customers can choose among six colors:

• Premium Opal White Silver Pearl (1.5 RS e:HEV E-CVT and 1.5 V CVT)

• Crystal Black Pearl (1.5 RS e:HEV E-CVT only)
• Sand Khaki Pearl (New Color: 1.5 RS e:HEV E-CVT only)
